Bought one of these Mangrove Jacks Craft Series Pear Cider pouch it had Mangrove Jacks M02 cider yeast artificial sweeter and pear flavoring and what was in pouch . Artificial sweeter being separate is good left it out .Put the pouch ingredients yeast and 1 and half kilograms dextrose fermented cool 15 c to start off there web site has yeast as low as 12c .Put the pear flavoring in when reached final gravity .Tasted clean not over powering flavor not too dry easy drinking .Have drunk most of the bottles so have not given time to age worth brewing .Paid $35 plus $2 for the dextrose. $37 total.
Reusing the yeast cake mixture apple juice and pear and apple juice berri pear and apple juice has more pear then home brand Woolworth.

How did your second batch go ? Missus is keen to try some ciders now the fermenter fridge is a goer. Think this'll be the first one we try

Berri pear and apple juice went well but drunk to early needed time to mature the berri juice seemed to have more pear juice then home brand and was on special. Pear juice seems to make it more drinkable.
