Bit the bullet fermenter fridge

Postby bt1 » Sat Oct 04, 2014 7:29 am

Kinda got hung up on AG BIAB lagers/Pilsners of late. I'm over mash tuns.

Invested in a new 300lt fermenter fridge only and Keg King temp controller to perfect the art over summer. Caution: this leads to other addictive pursuits like modifying the grain mill to run on a low speed drill, spending $200 on grains yesterday.

This lager experimenting with dry hopping and hop varieties is becoming all consuming. I need help :D

When you've spent around $2k on your beer gear, you know it's money well spent :laughing-rolling:

Gotta admit now the warmer weather is here these fizzy drinks are becoming more popular with me too, but looking into it all its pretty daunting at the cost of setting up..... I'm cheating and getting mine from u brew it, it's a nice drop and the price for three kegs full at $160 is reasonable when we're only going through 1 x 19L keg each week.

My mashing is going to be concentrating on improving my single malt and Irish style whiskies for now, if the bug really bites I might go a step further into some beers.

Here I was thinking I had it all, but no, there's always more one can spend on
