Next time you go to do Salt and Pepper Squid, use the dust that i used for our fish fillets last night.

Chilli Salt;

4 spoons plain flour (3 plain one cornflour once you get good)
1 spoon salt
1 spoon chilii powder

Put it all in a plastic bag, shake, add squid pieces, shake and then shallow fry.

heaps better than s&p and even most kids will eat it and come back for more.

Boned out a shoulder of young nanny goat and did a stew with sweet dumplings. Must have been good cause Bourbon Girl had two helpings.

Not for dinner tonight, but it is a very regular dinner choice for us. Very easy.

"prostitute pasta"

http://www.nigella.com/recipes/view/sugo-puttanesca-prostitutes-sauce-908

:D

We use a handful of pitted kalamata olives and not just the regular black ones, and always add big heaped teaspoon of tomato paste.

Make sure you add the anchovies !!! Sounds weird but they make all the difference.

:handgestures-thumbupleft:

Tastes best with fresh egg pasta or the dried stuff that actually has egg in it and not just wheat on it's own.

Cheers
