Is that a old fire supression botle as your boiler

Nah, close. It's a 45 litre old portable eyewash bottle. Not my boiler. Just put it on it to help complete the look.

I have a 50 litre keg that I'm in the process of turning in to a boiler. But gotta finish the bubbler first.

So bender the bubbler is all at home assembled. The water lines have had a reconfigure, the RC lines removed and rewelded and a water rest run. Linny has once again been kind enough to lend me his 50 litre boiler and it's time to run this sucker properly. Missus is taking over the kid on Monday morning and it's time to get my bubble bath on.

I'll post some videos and some pictures in Monday when it's going. For now, it's time to get ready for 2moro for the NRL final! Yew

Running Bender The Bubbler for the first time. Running Brendans Faux Bourbon (CFW). Bottom glass just started fogging up.

Gee and to great to see the fruits of your hard earned labour finished in all its glory.

After this run I will strip Bender down and start polishing him.

Top work Milky. Give yourself a pat on the back. Bender is a fine piece of craftsmanship. I hope the quality of drink it produces is equal to, or exceeding that of the quality of the still! Watching movies like this gets me all jacked up to start building one myself...

Thanks heaps 12many. All these congrats are awesome. You all don't know how much it means after such a long build due to some limitations.

I will post pics soon. I haven't wasted any time polishing. I got the still all pulled down and managed to buff, Polish & shine with Brasso the PC today. I clear coated it too. With this great hot weather in Newcastle it makes it quick between coats!

I'll take some pictures tomorrow and post the up here.

Thanks muppet. I tried to manufacture things differently to how I've seen it done before (e. G. Flanges) to see if it worked & it went better than expected. With the way I flanged my modules they ended up 100 percent straight like the pipe was never cut at all. So pleased. I know Summie had some trouble beating them straight. I had the tool, so I used what I had, like most people on here.

So I pulled the bubbler down and started polishing everything, starting with a JOSCO polishing kit I got from Bunnings for $47 and finishing with a light polish up with some California Customs "Purple" Metal Polish from Autobarn for $30.

Each piece will be clear coated. The welds cam up outstanding! More pics to follow on the kit I have bought and my process for those that are interested.
