Is there a reason for not putting a 4 inch sight on a 4 inch bubbler just curious

Expense.

If you can afford the larger seals, clamps and glass go for it.

They also don't look as good as a 3", in my opinion :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I've changed the thread name, just post all of your bubbler questions in here, Cyba, it'll make it easier to keep your progress in one spot.

Hey thug, for ease of construction I made mine(not yet completed) out of 4in T's.
I do think 3in look nicer and are cheaper

whats a good gap to have from the back of the sight glass ferrule to the main body as I don't want anything to foul on each other

I'm unsure of where I should have the t piece as I have taped it on a bit lower to get a better view of the plate but not sure if it would work as I cant find anyone else that has done that so gets me thinking that there is probably a good reason any help on this?

Nice work mate, it's going to be a great looking build when it's done.

I'm not a still builder so this is purely based on my own logical reasoning but I think the main reason the tee is put to the middle rather than offset to towards the bottom is probably for triclamp clearance so I can't see why you couldn't mount them lower if you have the clearance to do so. For what it's worth, I have no problem seeing the plate action on my neutraliser which has the sights mounted in the middle but your tees look like they're slightly taller so that might have an impact on your plate visibility.

Sorry, I haven't really helped much have I!

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Well I can shorten them but I thought it's different to the rest and I can shorten how far the t pokes out but where it is now I think is fine as long as no other issues come into play
