Looking really good Roy,

What process did you use to cut the form on the 4" SG's to mate to the 6" column?.....

Been a while since posting anything. Thought this build might be slow one. Need couple more bits to finish of and some time. Found a 6x4 reducer at Reece for $41 thought was a bargin so may as well try to go all copper.Going single cap as steampunk 2 ^:)^ .Should I try find some 2 1/2 to go over 2 for cap or 3 over 2 ? Either way don't have either yet. :angry-banghead: And ran out of acetylene :angry-banghead: .

Yeah bit over the top but just used what I had. Bit worried about weight but figure that out later. Electric mate only got 18 gallon boiler at minute till finish boiler build. Have one 15 amp line in shed and another line so 2400 on one 3600 on other with voltage controller. All new with 6 inch might be bit trial and error.

You gunna run the 2400w through controller? I reakon 6 inch will need 4800w. I see there is a few running 4" on 3600w..

6" will be fine with 3600 + a controlled 2400 element.

Love your work Roy :handgestures-thumbupleft:

That's the plan zak :handgestures-thumbupleft: . I run my 4 inch with perf plates on 3600 flat but when I run 4 with single 2 inch cap I run at 7 on controller so 27/2800. Now heart of gold is finished does that mean Agrajag comes back to be finished ??

How did you expand your 6" for the ferrules? Been looking on ebay for pipe expanders but can only find ones for up to 3"

Been a while but did bit mock up today to judge scale. Still have lots to do. Plates have inch downcomers with inch and quarter caps 2 inch riser with 2 1/2 cap fell free to comment. Modules ended up at 190 seem to big but can trim 20 mm off them?? All feedback appreciated :handgestures-thumbupleft:
