Postby Grumpydude » Wed Jun 21, 2017 11:01 pm

I received my beautiful neutraliser and 50 litre milk can, just want to thank Allan and Sue for the quality products they supplied me with. It's been a pleasure doing business with you. Cheers to you both, very happy customer. Can't wait to get this baby fired up. Cheers Bill.

Hi bill, just out of interest what is the height of your rig all up (boiler and column)
Am curious what ceiling height you guys would need to have with them taller gigs :handgestures-thumbupleft:

http://www.aussiedistiller.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=6714&p=114439&hilit=neutralizer+height#p114439

depends on the exact configuration, type of boiler connection, blockhead/2x90 bends, boiler type, etc.

for me: 50L keg boiler + 100mm boiler connection + 5 plates + packed section + blockhead = approximately 2.3 meters.

cheers rs

From the Neutraliser info on the FSD site:
Total height of unit is from boiler connection is 1740mm

From another post by Mac
100L milk can is 745mm to top of the ferrule

And I think from a conversation I had with Mac or MrsMac, the 50 litre is 635mm

So:
50 litre milk can plus neutraliser would be 2375mm give or take a few mm.
100 litre milk can plus neutraliser would be 2485mm give or take a few mm.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Hey copperhead road,
I measured the height of the complete neutralizer configuration on top of the 50 litre milk can and its total height was 2475mm.
Cheers Bill.

Thanks grumpydude :handgestures-thumbupleft:
Ceiling height must be an issue for a lot of people I reckon , especially running on gas

Take a photo on your phone , then screenshot that photo then upload that screenshot.
Hope that helps, as for doing it on a computer I dont know. I'm no pumpkin farmer but when it comes to that thing I'm about as useful as a shit flavoured chuppa chup.
