Skookum my new Still supplied by 5SD
Posted: Wed Nov 14, 2018 1:45 pmI hate to brag about "Skookum" my new 4 plater with a 500mm packed section. (1kg of copper in bottom and 500grams in the top and 300mm of 10mm scoria in between)
A blockhead and a 50 litre milk can with 2 x 2400 watt elements, but what the heck. :teasing-tease: :teasing-blah: (p.s. could only get 750grams in the bottom :angry-banghead: )
Many thank to Andrew at 5SD for service 2nd to none. A big "Kudos"
Did a cleaning run and than a 25 litre TPW for a first try.
Went like a house on fire. (figure of speech) :text-lol:
See the attached picture to judge for yourself. (The start of the Heads) Stopped collecting at 90% ABV and got about 1.5 litres of hearts. (Still have to cut yet)
