FSD neutraliser not level

Couple months ago I bought a second-hand neutraliser through the forums, and I have started setting it up finally.

Once together its easy to see the column leans off centre (pics below). I have checked the stand, it's level. I am guessing it's the top of the boiler.
I can easily adjust the stand, making it unlevel to correct the column.

I have a couple questions,
Firstly, is this an issue while running the still ?

Secondly, could the boiler top rim be adjusted with heat ?

Try rotating the 100mm section at the bottom 90deg at a time, you might find a sweet spot.
Next would be to try the Tee sections in different locations, sometimes they aren’t all the same.
Edit to add: if the parrot is level and the alcometer floats free it’s going to be ok

Thanks Mate
I will pull it down first, and shuffle the tee sections, and rotating them as well.

Mine has a slight lean to it too but I've always put that down to the base the boiler sits on. Never been a problem running it though. One thing I found was that the vibrations from the boiler made the parrot bounce around a bit so I no longer run with the parrot directly connected to the still.

I think it would have to be seriously off kilter to have any major effect.

Looks like that milk can is stuffed.
I’ll swap you for a straight 50litre one that will fit in your shed and give you room to put a 100kg hoist over it.
Shit, I’ll even throw in the hoist.
:teasing-tease:
I don’t think the angle would be a problem.
If you have a ceiling space above that hook I would consider boxing up a section and putting in a hoist.
Mine makes it easy to dismantle, clean, level and hold secure.
It cost about $100 from the big green shed.

Haha thanks for the offer mate :)

Ran the still today, I see the point of the hoist now, will be very handy.
I'm going to look into building one soon.

I bought one from Blunderings for $100.
You might have to put a manhole in the ceilingtoget the height.
