The rc is well fitted. Too tight on the tri clamps ? I can reflow it , pressure test it get 2 runs and it will be cracked again... thoughI do pull the modules apart every run.

I'm flying blind here, some pics of the offending leak would be good. Having said that, you mention a vapor leak on the bend and a leak on the PC. Pretty vauge info to go with, but I'll have a shot.
If its a pin hole type leak on the bend, make it so that you can have a go at resoldering it. Don't do it on the rig, probably can, but to remove doubt, take it off. Get it warm, have your flux ready and brush it on while playing the flame on the joint. Bakers flux will go blackish, but burn away at the right temp. Not too hot, not too cold.

If its a flange joint on the PC, make sure its flat both sides of the joint. Blacksmith as required to get it flat. Check your triclamp has at least 5mm before it bottoms out. If not add thin gaskets as needed to get some compression.

If its a plumbing leak, piss the plastic stuff off. There are new style plumbing fittings that push on, they would be ok if you use the hot water ones. The other push on ones are usually for air. And the irrigation stuff is crap for us, unless its away from the still.

the Elbow is fixed but just not pretty... so hard to reflow since it a dirty join now ,,, and the only true way to fix it ,,, is to pull it apart.... to be honest id rather rebuild the still LOL ....

Ill keep an eye on the PC ,,, its still working for now... Its flat with tight tolerance's , just i think i do up the triclamp too much and it warps under pressure (triclamp) and heat causing it to crack.

ive got 3 or 4 more runs to do then ill be slowing down again , which means i can pull apart the still and fix it and polish it etc. Now that im ironing out alot of bugs ,,,

still not happy about needing a extra 1" socket and 1" hex plug..... Atlas and midway metals both have the parts on their catalogue ,,,, just dont have prices for the damage which is making me nervous since i dont have a choice but to buy those sizes

Here is the boiler wired up .... still needs a clean and test each element.

I also put brass fittings on the condensers ... now I just gotta clean and polish the still again lol

After all this , EG or Mac bubblers would have been easier lol...

What's the insulation you've put around it? I bought the silver & black stuff from Clark rubber, and can cut it all to size around the fittings and everything.

Well Just cleaned and ran both elements seperately ..... Not so keen on running 2 elements off 1x double point ,,, even 1 was warm.... how do you guys do it ? im thinking until next fortnight i'll be using two extension chords off two different power points,,,,Can you please PM to keep it clean :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Are you talking about 2x 2400 W elements off of one double powerpoint??

I'm not sure what you're doing...a double powerpoint will be on the one circuit, rated only for 10A (2400W)...even so the wiring would be protected by a 16A breaker and would trip, so would like to just clarify what you were doing mate :think:
