I doubt the initial set of glasses are borosilcate, most likely a soda-lime type if that even...depends on how they go might be crap... but someone has to test them.
Geez they are thin walled but I'm told/read thin is better for thermal shock...more physics I'm not on top of yet.... Given they are normally used for gas lanterns I expect no issues with heat as such and suspect even on a super cold day rapid temp changes due to wind/rain might be a furfie....consider they must get this in the intended use for camping anyway?

btw back drilled the underside plate with 2.5mm to get that theoretical venturi effect, but been thinking at the low vapour speeds we're dealing with it could just be bullshit... I guess we'll see! (pun intended)
