Blond bubbler complete

Postby blond.chap » Sat Feb 02, 2013 10:49 pm

Let the record show that on Saturday the 2nd of February, in the year 2013, the blonde bubbler was sufficiently complete to be able to produce a pretty awesome gin. Photos and short video to follow tomorrow, power's out here ( went out midway through the maiden run).

She's more pissed because (in her words) I spend more time with Paris Stillton than I do with her.

Blondy, with your sight glasses... Is the glass against/touching the tri-clamp?

I am about to do mine and had in my head that I'd need a seal on both sides of the glass (outside to protect glass from clamp), but mac says only one so am I to assume the borosilicate glass is fairly resilient against the tri clamp?...was worried about cracking it when tightening the clamp....

Hey Brendan, it's copper flange-silocone ring-glass. The triclamp goes around the glass and flange, no cracks just yet, as long as you don't over tighten it should be fine.
