New build needs a name.

Perforated & bubble cap plated columns

New build needs a name.

Postby MacStill » Fri Feb 22, 2013 10:52 pm

Here's a new build I've started, it's a pretty standard copy of my 4" modular stills that are so well known, but this ones a "little" different.

So far the plates are made, the PC is done & the RC is on the bench ready to solder together, then comes the nightmare of soldering all the ferrules on to the copper tees :wtf:

At the moment it's incomplete and still has a fair amount of work to do, but the pics should give you a fair idea of what it is & what it's gunna look like when done.

Once complete I'll be starting a new boiler build for this one, not sure 100 litre boiler will be worthwhile.

How about "mac.v48", or whatever version your up to now

or the "mac-inator".

I was thinking of the mac-erana, but it didn't sound so good for a still.
