It's just the same as soldering in a ferrule except the ferrule has the thread also...

They are so solid its not funny too- everytime i screw them on i make sure i have a tight grip cos if i drop it on my foot it will be a guaranteed fracture of a few toes....

Another pic...

DAMN! This is the best looking still I have ever seen. The copper and stainless together really is sexy. Congratulations mate.

This build is awesome mate you have done an awesome job. Such a high level of quality. I love those sight glasses starting to wish I'd gone with them on mine they look so clean. I only hope mine comes up near as good as this. its hard when you first start off and it all seems so far away.

Cheers 12many :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yeah Newbi it did actually come together quicker than I anticipated but I didn't have easy flanges to contend with so the bulk of the work was the PC and RC, which I was dreading cos they can be a pain in the arse, as a few here can attest to... Check Mac's post on making a shotgun when you go to knock yours out - it's not the way I ever thought of making it but it works! :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Real Top Job there Punchy.

You'll love those female brass sockets you got stuck on the PC .Very flexible :D

How longs you're PC ,whats in it ? .I've got some 2.5" for mine so will probably be doing similar PC wise

They're 3/8 staino sockets on the PC and the actual condenser length is just under 500mm... So I'm gonna need a spacer piece to comfortably fit the parrot in - I was thinking an FSD gin basket that could double as a spacer or another tee/plate  I've got about 200mm until I hit the ceiling in my brew room...
