Plate tree self improving?

Howdy,

I could have convinced myself of this idea...but it's based on good observation and a pull down and full inspection done yesterday.

I reckon and can see the patina sealing the very small tolerance gaps between column wall and plates. Not the green verdagree soft type but the hard purple ~ ish you get after 20- 40 plus runs.
I had one plate that under performed and have put it down to the small gap between wall and plate is sealed. It works as per others now...less flowing down the column wall.
The only other factor I can guess at is perhaps she's not been dead level when setup or that plate itself is not dead level, but these ideas don't explain the change.

If there a hundred runs plate driver who could comment?
