well after much yet necessary activity i have been able to squeeze in a bit of progress allbeit slow and here are some of the pictures i promised.

Thats the fanciest pot still I ever did see!

I've seen plated columns with plates, but never a pot still :think:

it's coming together nicely Mr Lizard... the bottom ferrule on the second photos looks like it gave you a hard time? I have seen your work many times and the quality is very good, could you let us know what happened with bottom ferrule incase some else encounters dramas while building...thanx :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Very nice Lenny. Although I gotta say, you need more shit on yr bench.

Looks like my neighbours shed , he knows where everything is ,,, thats up until he cleans it ,,, then he has NFI :laughing-rolling:

yes jayd that ferrule caused some trouble as did the sight glasses and i havent yet got to the bottom of that yet however it seems to be a three fold problem, the silver solder was the wrong grade the flux was old and the ss ferrules dont like it so i have rectified two of three and as yet no luck so i am on to issue three and will let you all know how i go.
on a lighter note you should see my bench also one i prepared earlier :laughing-rolling:

well to all who have bean anticipating the next installment i have some news of the progress with evidence. I am not able to put all of my energy into this with a juggle between work and play. i shall be finishing soonly [i hoope] and will clean it then until next time happy stillin everyone
