Yes on my rc I run it 1/2 full and also have a temp gauge in it and on the first [and only run so far ] the rc temp was best at around 40 deg
Tomorrow with the packed section on it all may change
Stay tuned

Thanks Mac and aussie for the confirmation.
I thought it was a good idea for minimal extra effort.

So today I pulled my finger out and completed the build.
I will be changing the sight glasses in the future to stainless ones if I can find them available that will fit.
I am pretty happy with the end result.
It stand 2.3 meters tall with the packed section and 1.8 meters without it.
The cost of my build did blow out though to $2250 once you factor in polishing wheels, dremmel bits and solder :crying-blue:
If I was to do this again I would buy an off the shelf unit and save myself the trouble!
Any ways, here are some photos of the finished build.
Just need to purchase some stainless lines for the water feed and return.
(excuse the messy garage  )

You may have had a bit of help at first getting all that machining done ,but man, you've put the work in and it looks like you've done as much cutting and soldering and filing and polishing and stressing as the next Bubbler Builder.

I say well done and you are NO LAZY BOY !! That is Shit hot .I'd have to nominate it for the next build of the month if I may

Thanks all for the kind words!
Yes yummy, I probably spent a good 60 hours getting everthing together even after machining.
Plenty of years to enjoy the hard work though and smiles all round
