So here are some pics of my bubbler project its 99% finished just the boiler to complete and I'll run it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out cos I did have a few hiccups along the way but have finally managed to get it done. As satisfying as it has been the time put into these builds is ridiculous not to mention the cost. I haven't worked it out yet but I an pretty sure I could have bought one of Mac's beauties for what it has cost me. Anyway here are some pics. I have included the boiler and voltage controller as I feel they are all part of my build. More pics to come as I can only put up 5 at a time.

Gorgeous. Don't expect that shine to last long once you start pumping heat through her. ;-) but that's a great shiny build mate.

Thanks everyone for the kind words I am pretty happy with how it come up but without the people that make up this forum id still be running turbos through my old HBS crappy still . As far as the money because I was starting from scratch so building the boiler and controller as well added to the cost. Between copper pipe, fittings all the stainless bits, elements not to mention the consumable stuff solder, flux and gas. It all adds up to a lot more than I had worked out initially anyway .

I had never intended on polishing it at all but had it all sanded with 1200 wet and dry and hit it with some polish on a rag and it come up pretty good with not much effort so it looks good for the photos but probably will never look like that again.

Just running some vinegar through her now. I've been battling some leaks. I was quiet surprised all the plates loaded up I didn't expect this with vinegar although the glasses were very foggy inside I assume this is because its vinegar. I got a couple of washes ready to complete the cleaning then do a virgin run on tpw. Very excited.

Well done mate, this is normal for the SG's to fog up. It's due to the high water content and high temp, your SG's will be clear when you run normally :handgestures-thumbupleft:

So I've cleaned the black shit out and dosed it up with a TPW + some bits and pieces of already distilled washes I had as the final (I hope) cleaning run. Its all running sweat plates all loaded up good. The RC couldn't hold back both elements but I guess that's normal. Anyway its all running as I'd expect so good after so long. Really stoked and excited to get some booze going. Dunno if I should go Rum opr BWKO as apart a couple of TPW runs I am brand new to all of this.
