Yes mate this is to be a registered commercial still. It does not have to be until I commision it and the boiler. I just got the go ahead from the ATO to run my commercial distilling school so this will be a part of providing commercial distillers, assistance with getting their competence recognised. I have to confirm to customs and excise the final boiler capacity and a few extra bits such as a 400mm packed section before they will give it the final nod. But I have been assured they are happy to have someone train and assess, as this has been a problem for them in the past. As this is the optimum sized still for a small craft distillery. I think it will not just be good for us but also for those who wish to become commercial.

I am going to put it on display in the bar over the weekend to show it off... I guess I am just a very proud distiller, and she is beautiful. A work of art.
