Im now waiting on a 2"tri clamp so I can temp fit all this together, I only have one to clamp it to the boiler so hard to put it together, with out two. So this is now completely up to date.
Im still to make the piping for the RC and PC but the holes are all drilled waiting; Im building the boiler as I go as well but I guess that should be put in another thread.
Im thinking of making the glasses for the SG's as well I realise it has to be hardened glass; my mate has recently reno'ed his kitchen so I took the door off his old oven, so might use this glass for SG's.

Summie ,as far as I know you can not reuse harded glass.Experienced glaciers refuse to have any thing to do with it.Just use standard 4mm house window glass .It is very forgiving

Looks great Summie. If I were you I would just get your sight glasses from FSD. 3" glasses are only $5 each, they will be the right size and they are made from borosilicate.

Thanks for the info on the glasses, didnt know you can't reuse hardened glass. Might give it a crack anyway just to be sure. If not I have an old fish tank or I will buy them from FSD, $5 bucks is pretty cheap. Could save a lot of stuffing around...but than again I won't learn any thing from that..... See what happens I guess.

Cheers Fella's.

Hi I got the adaptor from the US, all fits an works the same, filling is pretty easy the video I watched said to help transfer leave the bottle you want to transfer to in the fridge so its very cold, then hook it up, turn it all upside down an leave it for a few minutes and if fills. I did that yesterday worked a treat.

Ill try find the link to the video.

k...I was not having a go at you as I have decanted from one bottle to another, however you did leave out an important piece of information I highlighted. We must be clear in what we tell people on how to go be going about things. Never leave it...and make very sure there are no ignition sources close by...and there will be a stench after you disconect the bottles from each other as a little gas escapes...

I'm talking to FilthyPhill now and he has advised me,it's better to only half fill as you can still get good use out of it, then to over fill the bottle as small bottles have a tendensy for the valve to stick open as lpg temp is -41* if you do fill the bottle to capcity keep it out of the sun or away from form of heat. This is only a simple safety guide... :handgestures-thumbupleft: and dont forget to ventillate area well after filling your bottle...remember lpg does not go away, it will pool in the lowest lying area.
