Sounds like you needed a visit to the drill press to remind you what a bitch they are to drill.

Bubble caps are just as good, not better, not worse.
Just depends on howyou wantto go about it.

no worries though, im sure it's on my end.

great post, I bet this inspired more people to try than you think!

will be starting a perf plate this weekend, bubble caps up till now...only because I'm not known for finesse; bit of a bull in a china shop. call your brokers, tell em to invest heavy in brill bit companies! :))

No I've drilled plenty of perfs and remember what it's like, and dont use a drill press for them either ;-)

I've built and used both & my preference now is for the caps, as to what is better is only a matter of opinion but you need to try both before you can fairly judge :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Caps all the way for this black duck :D ;-) :D
