I'm pretty sure you need to hard solder the rings together. Then soft solder said rings onto copper pipe.

I did go to bunglings today to buy some brazing rods but i was not sure which one. There was nickle silver and a few others. I'll do some reading

Went to see the good blokes at the plumbers co-op. Bought a 100mm copper t-piece and the young bloke pipes up with....... Building a still are we. Asked him what gave it away and said no trade account and industrial copper parts. we get a few of you. I told him the plumbers co-op rate a mention on the forum.

I'm very surprised to hear that that blokes in my area (penrith NSW) are building stills but more importantly plated stills. (Good taste)

Anyway, started drawing up the next still. Gents, feel free to critique as its only a drawing right now

Should do the trick...

The reflux condenser is what turns a packed pot still into a bubbler...
