Nobody can say you guys don't pay attention. :laughing-rolling: I'll be sure to pass on compliments where they are due.

If there is one lesson that could be learned, it is NEVER leave your still unattended :))

Wiifm, it's taken me a while, but i'm catching up on the last few months of the forum while I've been away from it.

I have to say mate, what an outstanding build! That rig is exceptional, and I'll bet you're very proud of it!

My hat's off to you (if I was wearing one).

Speaking of taking items of clothing off, I couldn't help but pause that little picture film of yours there :-B :shifty:

Hi Brendan. You can leave your hat on (soundtrack to the next vid? :laughing-rolling: )

Thanks for the compliments mate. Very happy with the build. Looking forward to trying your all grain recipe soon.

I thought it was about time to make some additions to the bubbler so put an order in with Mac. Here is what rocked up in the (very well packed as usual) post today.

No prizes for guessing what I am building, but I hope to add a twist or two for your viewing pleasure. This build won't be done quickly as I have another couple of projects on the go with urgent deadlines, but I don't think I will have bushy bothering me :laughing-rolling:

So I have been a month in Cairns now. Other projects and activities have taken a priority, but now it is time to get the glasser up and running again.

Made up a manifold for the recirculating cooling

Tidied up the wiring a little and have a sparky mate coming over to connect in the next week or so

Next cab off the rank is getting a setup happening with all grain and these little helpers

Bet you are looking forward to that. :D

Fast way of getting things done with repairs to your still -

Put a wash/ferment down.... that'll give you a sense of urgency. :teasing-tease:

Good question. I never measured.

From memory, they require a 16mm hole. Hole spacing was 32mm I think.

If I had my time again, I'd have the mid plates cut like this:

Would require extra strength at each end, but would make for easier assembly / disassembly.

Do you think the nuts would be secure enough on that much copper. Does make the machining a lot hard is there really that much need for disassembling

I am thinking no nuts for the mid plates.

Up to you mate. It is your build after all. Someone else suggested these to me just the other day.

I'm thinking thick stainless plates at the top and bottom to hold the lot together would be the go
even more food for thought for my bubbler design...

Did a neutral run from low wines yesterday.

Nice to have a clean wash to work with. Was pushing 3600W and about 1.5L/min through the RC.

Looks great, do you have a surge breaker on your 2inch reducer
