Thought I would do a short video on running my bubbler, it's not the best but it's my first try....

I'm also uploading another one now from the end of the run that should be interesting, it'll be ready for viewing in a couple of hours.

Hope you enjoy :text-lol:

Indeed, thanks Mac, good to see some bubbler action.

I do find the fluid level in yours to be significantly higher than mine, I'm not sure if that's cause the glasses are mounted lower to the plate than mine are, or because the sieve holds more liquid than my bubble cap does. My caps hold a static liquid level on my plate of about 5/8" thick, and the glasses on mine are about 3/4-7/8" above the tray floor.

Swede,

My plates are about 3/4 above the plates & the liquid level sits just at the bottom of the glasses, what you can see is a head (?) of bubbles on top of the liquid.

Perforated plates do seem to bubble more vigorously than bubble caps.

Well the fruits of this run has been sampled and it's bloody beautiful, another couple of months and it's going to be some of the nicest rum I've made yet

I'm not sure if running this early before the ferment finished is what has done it, but it definately has some caramel notes to it & the after taste is magic...... I'm going to try this again with the batch that's farting now

Early January is going to be exciting with some new product releases that will be accompanied by a vid or two ;-)

But that's all I'm giving away at the moment, until then it's :shh: :shh: :shh:
