I don't think there'll be next time Kimbo, not with that tool anyway. Good for drawing branches on vm columns, but's that's where it ends.

Cone or sphere it doesn't matter. Whatever a ranting wood turner reccomends will be good enough for the purpose. :teasing-neener:

I hope you don't give up on that type of look 5Star. It would be a real signature once perfected...

Just need to build a form or some type of jig to insure your tubing remains true while pulling your divet into the tubing....More work for sure but should make up for the up front labor down the road.

Can cut a concave in a wood form by gaging a table saw blade to the correct depth and installing a modified fence at the correct angle in order to conform to the true roundness of your tubing.
Might even be faster to splay your tubing, install the wood form on the halved up piece of tubing, pull your divets into the tubing,, and maybe even install the plates,,then put the two halves back together.......Or sumpin like that........

Sure is a good looking design though
