Rum Glass

Perforated & bubble cap plated columns

Rum Glass

Postby rumdidlydum » Fri Apr 10, 2015 8:39 pm

After all this time I have a plan. Yes another glasser, the reason why I have gone a glasser other than a conventional coulmn is I love the look of them and they're very visual.
I have started with some parts and begun building, this won't be a fast build due to time and funds ect ect. But its a build I look forward to.
As well as the bubbler I will be building a keg boiler.
I look forward to watching the current builds take shape also, good luck fellas.

So the plan is...
4" from keg to tri clamp then first plate,
5X plates 1x for neutrals, plates will be 150mm diameter with 1X 2" cap, 3/4 dc and 1" or 1 1/4 up comber ( haven't decided yet)
5X glasses
6X SS M8 rods
100mm 7X 3/4 tubes rc
500mm packed section
And most likely a block head for botanicals
2" pc with 7X 1/2 tubes
To a parrot.
Here's some pics

Good stuff mate.

Looking at that pic of the plates on my phone, I thought you were making each plate out of 10mm copper sheet haha

Why the slots in the downcomers ? I thought slots were for risers only in caps?

Slots in the DC cups won't hurt... They're not necessary though.
