saw this in action the other day was fantastic!! and the LED lit boiler pics don't do it justice it's damn cool watching the boil. got very jealous that mines still in 10000000 pieces and hasn't moved considering we got our plates caps etc all cut and done together lol. but considering I know someone with great copper work skills I have a pot still on the way from some scrap laying around :-D. love me a good swap meet hahah.

Bloody brilliant rummy, that thumper looks awesome. Your whole build has come up a treat and those few extras you've thrown in just top it of.

Well done :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Personally .... I would love to see a pic of the still set up fully with the new thumper in place and the pretty led shimmering through the boiler sight glass ... Pure distilling porn and I want to see it!

A thumper is just an old scrap bit of copper unless it has a still bolted on top! And pictures taken! :teasing-neener:

:handgestures-thumbdown: there's alot of other stills out there that are far more shiney and better built. Plus being a mod its a bit biased.
Thanks anyway DJ :D

Rum,

What did you do to seal the ends of the Primus glass against the copper?

Cheers.

Well here it is...
Unfortunately the packed section won't fit with the thumper on.
Also I'll have to some tweaking to get the column plumb :angry-banghead:
I cant wait to run it
