Thanks for the kind words fellas, my brother inlaw and I came up with the idea for the parrot while we were sitting around having a couple of drinks and discussing how we would set up the thumper for the big boiler.
It makes it easy to do cuts I must say, there is loads of time to change bottles while the parrot refills.

nice run but you must do harsh cuts to only have 5L of hearts? or too fast?

i would have thought you would have gotten 7 of good hearts at least

Yeah very harsh cuts m8, no need to be greedy I reckon as it all goes back in again for another run.

ahh do you put feints in with the low wines? so the 30L of low wines was low wines+feints? this makes sense :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yeah the faints go in with the next run every time, only ever throw out the fors. All up today I collected 8lt, all at 96% before the bottom plate started fogging up a bit, could have refluxed and got a bit more but couldnt be bothered lol.

Had some bits sitting around so thought I'd try and knock up a better PC.
Overall length is 500mm, cooling length is about 450mm or so.
4 x 1/2" tubes.

I've put a rotary cleaning ball in the boiler, it will be plumed in when I get some more fittings.
The boiler is lagged with fiberglass lagging with SS mesh wrapped around it.

What kind of pump you running your spray ball off? I’m toying with the idea of CIP as well.

I run my setup from out underground bore, not exactly sure what size pump it is but it runs the ball really well.

I had too many holes in my plates and had to run at a higher power than I wanted to to keep them loaded so hod to block some up.
While I was at it I rearranged my cups because I was getting a bit of vapor going through the downcomers.
