That's it bluc. Almost finished, boiler, parrot and gotta screw and tap in my sight glasses. It took me a while to get the sight glass problem sorted today, had make up 8 x 3/8 easy flanges the remove the old ones and solder in the bigger ones. Ive worked hard for my bourbon tonight

Looks great Strongy :handgestures-thumbupleft:
Too much work in it to not make it shiny. The bloke I got my copper (free) from said I have to polish it :crying-blue: personally I'd be happy to give it a mad max feel but free copper, I can't argue :laughing-rolling:

to be honest... i couldnt really care what it looks like on the outside (but my family/mates are wankers, not all of them) and if i served them booze from a dull still they would think they are drinking rat poison. but if i shine her up they will think they are drinking Woodford reserve. Its the same with my beer, I cant b fucked filtering but if i don't people are like.... its ok but I like VB better, WANKERS....

DBV's Steampunk builds were both finished black, but have since been cleaned up and polished.

Go for it I say! Love this build :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Nothing wrong with doing the same as others. If it's the look you want and you think it's awesome then I say go for it mate! Great progress too! Enjoying your build!

+1

You will need to have the bottom of your vent higher than the inner parrot tube.
