One small thing, your flat 3" - 3/4" reducer on your PC might hold a bit of product and lead to smearing...

Vinegar run went well though did show up a cpl small leaks.
I spent Saturday morning touching up a few things.
Saturday arvo I threw all my feints into the boiler and and topped up with water for a 70L charge @40%

I ran it fairly quick. I have heaps of firestarter and the Mrs has plenty of nail polish remover. I was ready for a maiden run on Sunday.
With 5plates and a 70L charge of tpw it'll hold full reflux at 3600w but floods at 4800w.
I did three runs totaling 200L and all sat comfortably at 96% but halfway through the third run my ibc was way above comfortable bath temp and the rc was wide open and still getting 3L output. The pc was easily handling it.

As I'm yet to make the packed column I'm going to be running it all twice so wasn't too concerned about the high take off rate.
All in all very happy with the way it's worked out :music-deathmetal:

Zac I just reread your last comment. The first time I was at work and was distracted and misread it to mean the flat Lyne arm.
It is probably not obvious in the pic's but I worked it a bit and it's got a slight dome about 4mm lower in the centre.
It hasn't been an issue as yet but as I have nothing to compare it to it may be effecting it and I just can't tell.

I ran a rum last night on three plates and had a small puke and had the top plate dry up so I have some fine tuning to do but quite happy for a first real run.

Should be fine then mate, I thought you just had a flat plate on the bottom :handgestures-thumbupleft:
