No groove just flat surface and took the protruding rib off one side of the seal.

Liquid flow meters.

I got them off ebay, there is a decent amount of people selling em.

Example of what I ordered

Hey nuddy

Where did you buy your stainless pipe from? I've had a hunt around town with not a lot of success. eBay has some 304 grade that's meant for exhaust pipes (not sure if I can use that) other then that I haven't found much

Cheers pug

Most of the 4" s/s tube was gifted to me. Did have to purchase a few bits and pieces from Midway Metals (google it), bends, reducers and extra triclover parts I didn't account for and needed in a hurry as they are close to me.

From memory they might do on site cutting for smaller pieces. Can also try ringing up fabrication shops and seeing if you can purchase smaller lengths of tube through them.

Other than that I stopped into the scrapyards once a week for weeks and weeks to scrounge around for bits I needed.

Time for some accessories.

Carterhead gin basket. I had the luxury of picking DBV's mind about his build.

Parts together.

Sightglass. It's not crooked just a bad angle for the photo.

Tacked together mock up.

See if I can get it finished this weekend.

Get in to it, love to see how it looks in copper form.

I finally got it all built, gave it a thorough wash and waiting for it dry before I assemble it.
