For the price of it , i use it for generations since it kicks off really well and reduces the cost with each generation you do ... it does kick off better than bakers yeast in the later generations

Howdy. Sorry to drum up an old thread. Got two packets of this yeast and running it on my 100% malted barley wort.

Holy crap this thing is bubbling away insane. Never seen it go so fast. It smells good, but concerned it gonna go nuts and have an off flavour. I will film the fermenter air lock and post to youtube with a link. But wowee its quick!

If you want to see violent on here somewhere is a blue drum rum ferment going absolutly bazonkas. Will see if i can find it..

That's a standard ferment, no problem at all. Just wait till one blows the airlock out of the fermenter... I new wait three days before putting the lid on.
