Hi guys,

Just a quickie.. I'm about to pitch yeast in a 50l batch of all bran/wb and realised I haven't got enough. I have 105g but needed about 150g, is this guna be a problem? I've had too many to drive to woollies now :angry-banghead:

Chuck it in and you'll be fine, it'll just take a little longer to get going.... :handgestures-thumbupleft:

F ..100gm...I'd use about that for 3 x 60lt fermenters...depends on yeast, wash, temp but 100gm would ferment a shipping tanker. For some idea an good yeast EC118 currently using has a pitching rate of 25g per 1000Lt.

rehydrate yeast prior but that's about it unless I'm regen'ing an older yeast where it get more complicated.
