For a 30lt (rare these days) a teaspoon of DAP and a multi b is my norm.

At the risk of offending rum drinkers instead of the multi B use 2 teaspoons of dissolved vegemite... it has no impact on taste :handgestures-thumbupleft:

A dollop of tp will do the trick, but your right.. Definitely lacking nutes for a T&P, mine never finish as dry or low as TPW and it can keep working for ages, just gently fizzing away. But it does make a killer vodka :D

Edit: sorry for the OT. I wouldn't bother with the turbs mate, chuck it in the bin... You have already seen the light.. Onwards and upwards :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Thanks mate, bin it is! Would have been great to boil it for nutrients though, oh well, back to the DAP. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Keep them in the cupboard in case you ever need to do a sacrificial cleaning run :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Had another thought, I am going to make an test UJ using my Safspirit American Whiskey yeast but boil up a packet of the "turbo" and add it for nutrients only. Will report back the results in a week!

So boiling turbo yeast won't change it? I was hoping someone knew or could give me an answer about this?

I don't know if anyone has tried it mate, and fuck knows what they have put in the packet.

Just throw it in the bin and use a recipe that ferments itself naturally :handgestures-thumbupleft:

If you really want to use just try and let us know the results, it's all about what standard you want to drink and shar with your mates ;-)

UJSM ferments out fine without any added shit, I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve by adding shit into it?

Best case scenario it works and doesn't add any bad flavour, worst case scenario you've just blown an entire wash.

Keep it in the cupboard mate :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Im interested to see if this works... But in the unlikely event that it does I for one won't be going down the local hbs to pick up some turbo to boil up :laughing-rolling:

Think of that beautiful safspirit whiskey yeast you got.. I know that stuff ain't cheap.. Is it worth the risk?
