Yeast Nutrients - Bread Improver

Postby wasbeer » Sun Mar 08, 2015 4:24 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone got experience with bread improver in fermentations? Does it help with fermentation? I was thinking about using it in my Rum and sugar washes when i am using a bread yeast. It might be useful for other yeast too. Its pretty cheap $2.90 for 250grams.

The brand is "The Healthy Baker" Bread Improver

Ingredients listed are as follows:
Emulsifier (481)
Soy flour
Flour treatment agents (516,300,920)
Wheat flour
Malt flour
Enzyme (amylase)

What are peoples thoughts?

Thanks
