Hi all, just need a little clarification please if possible. I've got a small area around a thermowell in a 4" SS end cap that needs sealing, it's <1mm but I'd still like it sealed and wondering if a liquid sealant like this is acceptable once cured. It reads well on the data sheet but I'm just curious if anyone else has used it or something similar? Once acetic cured it tolerates to 150c, is this effectively the same as a food grade silicone sheet?

I reckon you're best taking to someone who can TIG weld and get it fixed properly. No more issues or worries.

Or bit soft solder...
