Parrots Arhhh

Postby Potmash Boka » Thu Jun 27, 2013 11:23 am

Here's a pic of the 3 new parrots I've started today. Just realised that I have no flux left, looks like a trip to bunnings. :angry-banghead:

Those parrots don't deserve to be tortured by Bernzomatic Flux.

They kinda look "large"

what volume you planning on them all up?

std. meter is about 16cm so can be done with a 70ml volume and they're fast at that volume.

trust the main body tube is 1" / 25.4mm?

Yeah 1" pipe still have to trim them down. Was thinking 80mL volume, now you said 70mL might have re-adjust my thinking

pot,

80ml would be fine...it would still quick at that volume... at 4.5lt - 5lt/hr that's a lag of <1 min....regardless it's the trend it reflects that really helps you drive em.

reckon once they're over that 150ml mark seriously doubt the worth of em as a effective tool...slow as.

If by welding you mean brazing ,you don't need any flux ,Copper to copper .Copper to brass, that a different story
