brown tip solder

Hey guys,
sorry if this has been covered, a search of brown tip shoes everyone likes brown sugar and bushy is into horses.

Is brown tip an ok solder to use? i know its bron tip as its 10%or 15% silver, but can i use it to build a still (not that this will ever eventuate)

im guessing plumbers use it for water pipes so must be ok. ive used it heap and never worried before but never thought about it.

Yeah its all good. I built my parrot and my shotgun using brown tip. However, now that I am getting the hang of soft solder I can see why everyone uses it.
