Handy devices

I thought I would list some of the purchased or made handy devices that made my distilling life a whooooole lot easier...
1. Putting flour paste into a freezer baggy, snip a tiny corner off, and piping it on the still like an icing pipette...
2. A clamp stand to hold parrot, empty bottle, and pretty much anything I can find a use for it to hold:

3. Kitty litter trays:
I use them to hold the collection of bottles holding all my cuts, makes organisation and relocation so much easer, as well as protecting against spills
4. Wireless BBQ Thermometers
The ones I've bought from Bunnings were rubbish and kept failing after 2-3 uses, but overall a great idea if you're prone to putter about and do other things while waiting for a wash to heat up - even has a little alarm for whatever temp you have set. Common sense still applies here, stay close and make sure cooling etc is safely set up before you start walking around... And try not to walk out of range without switching all your equipment off first.

5. Discount store jam jars
Obviously not necessary, but if you don't aready have a collection of jars, these are handy for consistent size

6. Metal Funnel
Handy to have, plastic is bad.

7. Fermenter taps
Great to stop getting the s*** from the bottom of the fermenter into your racked wash. Bear in mind the first few mls that come out will have the crap, discard this.
