Reflux Still Leakage

Hi All

Just wondering if someone can help me.

I have a Super Reflux Still (25L) and where the power cord comes into the main cylinder there is now a leak and I am not 100% sure how to fix. It seems like I should be able to screw it tighter but I don't know if/how to?

Appreciate your assistance and thanking you in advance.

Kind Regards

Michael Andrews

Hi Michael, I'm not familiar with this exact still. is there a risk of electrocution if there is a leak at the powercord? :-B
if there isn't some good quality silicone should do the trick. Kitchen/ bathroom silicone from Bunnings. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

The elements in those boilers are replaceable, theres a silicone washer on the inside that's probably knackered.... a quick trip to your local HBS should get you sorted out :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Thanks Guys

Ill take it down to the local HBS today, i think that MacStill may be right.

It seems pretty loose on the inside, and i think the washer my be buggered.

Will let you all know soon.
