FSD 50lt Milk Can - Litres to top element?

Postby MattSmith » Mon Nov 06, 2023 8:39 pm

Does anyone know roughly how many litres it takes to cover the top element on an FSD 50lt milk can? I measured it once but can't remember now and my 4th stripping run of a corn whiskey only comes up to there (filled the boiler tonight ready to run tomorrow).

On mine 10 litres will cover the bottom element and about 17 to cover the second.
Hope that helps

Remember to add water to give you leeway when your close to the element...
