Hello all,
How can I convert a 50Lt keg to 4" tri clamp mount
Do I weld 2x 4" tri clamp short ferrules together and then weld 1 end to the keg?
There must be a 4" tri clamp plate that can be directly weld onto a keg surely?
Parts, avilablity suggestions welcome.

Just weld the 4" ferrule directly to the keg, no need for anything to adapt it to. Long ferrule would be best to give a bit more clearance for the triclamp.

Yeah mate,
I'm doing exactly the same thing to my keg. Just use a 4" ferrule from 5Star. Hit him up for all things triclamp.
Cut the hole with a plasma cutter if you can and don't forget to put a good few litres of water in it first to stop the slag sticking. Once mine is done, i'll chuck a piccie or two up so you can see.

Hi bt1,
Welding the 4" ferrule to the keg would be the best option
Or you could get a 4x2 reducer to clamp to the keg depending on your height restrictions
