Hello all, I'm wanting to buy a SS keg and a pot still but have a few questions first.
1) not knowing anything about kegs when i look on KK site they sell reco kegs which is fine for me, what i want to know is what type of fitting is on the top of a keg, i would like to use the tri clamps to attach things, so do i need to get some thing welded to the keg or can the clamps fit on. I have read read that kegs have different fittings for different spears, what ever that means :-D 8-}
2) How do people drill holes in the kegs?
3)Who on the site still makes pot stills for postage?
4) I gather Keg King are still the place to buy the kegs 55 +25 delivery to Adelaide.

Cheers
Guys

Any of the commercial kegs like tooheys, CUB etc. will work with a tri clamp

I use a plasma cutter to make holes in kegs :D

PM me regarding a pot still ;-)

Keg king seem to be fairly priced for kegs these days, that's not a bad deal with delivery :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I used a Dremmel and 4 cutting disks to cut out a 95mm hole for a 100mm Ferrule. I then had this ferrule Tig welded on top.

Amazes me what can be done with those things, they look like toys but they seem to get the job done.
