gas burner

Postby dropbear » Wed Sep 26, 2012 11:51 am

Hey guys,

Looking to buy a burner and I was going to grab a 3 ring from BCF but then i found this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130756938143?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 on ebay. and it comes with a hose and reg.
Has anyone used one before? is it worth paying the little bit extra to have the extra grunt?

Also am I right in assuming the brass valves are to control / turn on and off individual rings so once i have got my wort/wash to a boil i could knock back a ring or 2 to save on gas?

Cheers,

Yes that's what the taps are for. I too am considering using one of these as I have access to one. So I'm interested to hear what others have to say

If you want more grunt, replace your standard gas reg with a HP reg. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
(It will drain your bottle quicker tho)
