Anyone seen this before

Postby Potmash Boka » Sun Jul 14, 2013 1:14 pm

G'day I scored this CUB keg but it has been modified previously with a 4" screw top, and has at sometime had part from Rheem( hot water system) welded into the side.

the 4" thread is of an old CUB 18 gal setup. A 4" ferrule can be tigged straight on top of it :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Cheers Crow, I might do some research and see if I can make up adaptors in 4" and 2" for quick( screw on) change between different columns. :handgestures-thumbupleft: :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Hey Mac have you used one of these kegs before? Or one of the brains trust? Not much on the idiot net about these male threaded kegs.

If ya sort us the postage I'll give ya a ss cap for it , reckon it has an 1 and 1/2 steal bung threaded in it . If you can get that out ya might be able to use it (short restriction shouldn't cause any issue as the vapour should simply speed up through it)

I'm using one now, but it's a Swan brewery keg with a ferrule tigged to the threaded opening.... as crow suggested earlier.
