That's pretty cool, just wondering how your going to join that top half to the tri bottom. You going to verticle pinch in the bottom 60 deg apart so that it joins into the tri shape.

Potmash im not familiar with the term vertical pinch I was going to just let the top in by means of grinding scallops out of it and then using infill pieces but im open to suggestions :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Mark where your 60 deg apart joins are. Heat the staino to a light cherry red. Then with a blunted chisel start tapping the vertical line out so that you end up with a pointed spike looking bit sticking out. More at the bottom tapering up to nothing. It is a bit of work and the diameter at the bottom will be less than the top but when you scallop shape the bottom it will fill the gaps. Don't forget to keep heating to a light cherry red as you do it, and passify the whole lot after.

Just had to edit as using iPad with bloody auto txt set on yank.
