Yes you are correct. Depending on circumstance you can pull 28 amps through 2.5mm but its far safer to over rate. Under 100m 4mm is ample for dedicated 15A circuit. Im very lucky to have my father who is an A grade sparky. I also have a restricted licence. If your not licensed find a mate who is. Failing that use the yellow pages. The life you save could be your own
