Squatish copper

For some perverse reason I've hung on to two "pots" from old gas coppers for too many years and just recently had the thought that if I cut the upper section off each and then joined the two lower sections, I could have myself a nice good sized boiler to ultimately take over from the 9 gal keg I'm currently working on for my Boka.

Am I mad or is there some "wisdom" in my thoughts.

Cheers.

As long as the copper is not too thin and you join it properly they ahould be good to go, just dont hang too much weight off it as it might bend the copper if its unsupported.
