Im seeing my mate one night this week and i have made him 2 bottles for his time in checking my power controller for me.

Im not a scotch drinker so i dont know if it taste good or bad or average but this is what i have made below. i also aged it for a week at 65% first on oak which wont do much considering it was a week.

anyone tried this and thought it was alright?

have a go at heat distress aging, youll be surprised how easy it is and how much more aging you get over night.

:text-+1: Nuclear aging is awesome and makes a massive difference. Just be sure to air the spirit for a little while after the cycle is complete as it is crazy how much headsy acetone comes off of it!

I use the microwave mate. There is plenty of talk about it on all the forums.
I just 3/4 fill a jar and microwave for about 2mins .... Get it to about 165•f then screw the lid on tight and leave it to cool to room temp. It creates a vacuum and you can literally watch the colour being drawn out of the oak. For the best results repeat this process at least 3 times and you will have the equivalent of 6 or so weeks of natural aging. Just make sure you air the spirit for an hour or so afterwards to allow the headsy smells to dissipate.
