Infusing fruit

I'm sitting in my shed watching my sac run thinking, what if I got some peaches, cut them in half, freeze them then chuck them in the blockhead for a peach infused vodka ( the misses had one last weekend and has placed her order) will this work or am I just dreaming?

I reakon you'd need a basket as they will un-freeze quickly and could clog your rc.
I'd macerate them the same way as a g dropper

I've go tan basket. If I macerate the vodka it will be a peach colour like the g dropper is a strawberry colour. I guess I could run it through the still (without packing) again to clear it up?

Maybe dry some peaches & use that in the basket. I find dried peel gives more flavour than the same amount of fresh, whole fruit may be the same.
Could even macerate some fresh peaches in your strip (or good hearts cut) and re-run without packing, making cuts as per usual.
Or could use both these methods combined. If it turns out too peachy, dilute with more neutral :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Well, that didn't work  . There's a faint hint of peach, but more of a metho smell and a sharp taste. Next step, chop up some peaches, freeze them, macerate, then run the spirit through the still in pot mode.

I'd either make peach schnapps or peach vodka viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4744&hilit=Stevia for the quick option I'd do the 2nd :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Over on HD there is a bloke called paulinka or similar spelling.
He does fruit washes.
He did a write up a couple of yrs ago on how it was done.
It is an extensive and interesting read if you want to get a fruit flavoured spirit.

Found it.

Read through all of it as he gives info and tips as the conversation progresses.

Chopped up dried peaches and bunged them in the gin caddy mate.
